A new bill to keep Litecoin, Bitcoin in 401(k) retirement plans.

Byron Donalds, a Florida Republican, introduced a companion bill if passed would prevent the US Labor Department from restricting Americans from investing in Litecoin, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies in their 401k retirement accounts and self-directed IRAs.

H.R.7860 - To prohibit the Secretary of Labor from constraining the range or type of investments that may be offered to participants and beneficiaries of individual retirement accounts who exercise control over the assets in such accounts.

HR7860 was submitted as a companion bill to the The House Financial Freedom Act Bill S. 4147 by Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala.

S. 4147 To prohibit the Secretary of Labor from constraining the range or type of investments that may be offered to participants and beneficiaries of individual retirement accounts who exercise control over the assets in such accounts.
