Writer: Shan Belew Shan Belew

Bit Mining, a cryptocurrency mining company, has recently announced the release of a new Scrypt mining device, the BeeMiner LD3. The LD3 is designed to mine Litecoin and Dogecoin simultaneously. It offers performance that is roughly half that of the Bitmain L7 and half the cost.

The LD3 offers miners a budget-friendly alternative to the highly sought-after and expensive Bitmain L7. While cost savings may be attractive, it's important for miners to carefully consider their long-term profitability and the reliability of the new manufacturer before making a decision. It's a smart move to weigh the pros and cons, and do your due diligence before investing in any mining equipment.

Currently, over 5,000 of the new LD3 miners have been produced for both Bit Mining's internal use and sale to the public. LD3 is the second ASIC miner developed by the Company since the completion of its acquisition of mining hardware manufacturer, Bee Computing, in 2022. The first ASIC Ethereum Classic ("ETC") mining machine was successfully released in August 2022.
