In the past 7 days, litecoin has been the most searched according to google trends in Somalia. Somalia is a west African country.

What could be going on in Somalia that would spur an increase in people interested in litecoin? Well just this month the president of Somalia wished a get well soon to the president of Turkey after coming down with COVID-19 variant.

In December of last year, just a couple months ago the presidents both met for the Turkey Africa Summit.

Why is this significant? The turkey president met with the president of El Salvador and El Salvador is the first country to adopt bitcoin.
