Litecoin Joins Bitcoin and Ethereum as the Only 3 Cryptos at SAHARA Las Vegas

Litecoin is heading to the Las Vegas Strip, right alongside the two biggest names in crypto.

SAHARA Las Vegas now lets guests use Litecoin, Bitcoin, and Ethereum to fund casino play through BurraPay, according to Casino.org. The report describes SAHARA as the first casino on the Strip to offer the service through its main casino cashier.

For Litecoin, the standout detail is the company it keeps.

Bitcoin’s market cap is at roughly $1.53 trillion, Ethereum’s at $273.35 billion, and Litecoin’s at $4.02 billion.

Bitcoin’s market value is around 380 times larger than Litecoin’s. Ethereum’s is about 68 times larger. Yet when it comes to this rollout, all three earned a place on the same list. The same three Fidelity added years ago too.

That says something about Litecoin. Its market cap may be much smaller, but businesses are still choosing to include it alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum.

And market value is only one part of the story. People using the network matters too.

When it comes to usage, Litecoin is the second most used after Bitcoin among the proof-of-work chains. Over that 24-hour period, Litecoin had 186,744 transactions, compared with Bitcoin’s 358,535.

SAHARA adds another place to spend LTC. Guests can use litecoin to receive casino chips or slot tickets, then play as usual.

For a coin built to be used as money, these additions matter. Every business that includes Litecoin gives holders another reason to see it as more than something to buy and hold.

Bitcoin and Ethereum may lead by market cap. But at SAHARA, Litecoin has a place right beside them.
