Utah Bill would allow taxes to be paid with Litecoin


Jordan D. Teusher, a Republican from District 42 introduced a Bill in Utah that would make litecoin and other virtual currencies an accepted payment for taxes.


The bill also defines a virtual currency that is used as a medium of exchange; a unit of account; or a store of value.


The term "virtual currency" does not include: currency the United States government recognizes as legal tender.
